I was experimenting with macro shots last night. I read an article about turning your 50mm lens around and using as a macro lens and, of course, I had to give it a try. Here’s my first attempt. It was awkward at first because I had to manually focus and hold the lens on. I am fascinated by macro photography, but can’t afford a new lens. This might be a great alternative. I’ve also learned that you can get an adapter to hold the lens on the camera, which would be cheaper than a macro lens. Here is a picture of a lantana plant in our backyard.
