Today I was out in the garage working on my getting report cards done while my son played in the front yard. While I was taking a break I started thinking about photography. I was looking around the garage trying to find something to take a picture when I looked at my daughter’s bike. I sat and wondered how I could take a creative picture of her bike. I went and grabbed my camera and started taking pictures of the seat, then the frame and finally her tires. I tried all different kinds of angles and adjusting all my settings to see what my exposure would look like. After looking through all my shots, this picture stood out to me. I cropped it in Photoshop Elements and used an action I downloaded from The Coffeeshop Blog. I really like the way the picture came out. I thought this was a great little exercise in taking an ordinary, everyday object and try to take a creative picture of it.
